This is an American style guacamole, and it goes beautifully with burritos and other Mexican dishes. Try it with my Vegetarian Chicken Nuggets as well!
Makes about 2 cups.
- 2 large avocados
- 1/4 c sour cream
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- 1 Tbsp minced cilantro
- 1 Tbsp minced Anaheim peppers
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- Cut avocados in half lengthwise. Remove pits. Using a spoon, scoop avocado pulp into a medium bowl.
- Mash avocado with fork until mostly smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
- Chill tightly covered until served. Use as a dip with tortilla chips or as a side with any Mexican meal.
