No added salt is needed in this mildly sweet salad dressing. It is full of flavor and gets even better if it rests a day or two.
Makes about 1 cup.
Ingredients:
- 4 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 Tbsp date syrup
- 6 Tbsp malt vinegar
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp dry tarragon
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp red pepper
Directions:
- Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl or shake in a tightly lidded bottle.
- For best results, allow to stand at room temperature a few hours. Serve on green salads (especially one with walnuts or pecans on top), as a marinade, or drizzled in a sandwich.
