Ketogenic Cheesy Bites

These cheesy bites are great as a snack or lunchbox treat. High in protein and low in carbs, they will surprise you with their great flavor and biscuit-like texture.

Makes about 18 medium-sized bites.


  • 5 oz Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp cream cheese
  • 3/4 c almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp dry basil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp salt or salt substitute


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet(s) with parchment paper.
  2. In medium bowl, mix all ingredients together:with a wooden spoon; blend by hand until well-incorporated (Dough will be the consistency of cookie dough.)
  3. Drop on prepared sheet by heaping teaspoonfuls. Space them at least 1/2 inch apart.
  4. Bake 12 minutes, or until lightly browned, Transfer to cooling rack. Serve warm or at room temperature. They are good plain or with your favorite dipping sauce.
