This is a piquant, savory dressing that goes especially well on mixed greens. I use it here on a chard, kale and red sweet pepper mix. Delicious!
Makes about 1 1/8 cup.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c vegetable oil
- 1/4 c ketchup
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp ground dry mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp savory leaves
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground white pepper
Directions:
- In a 12-16 oz bottle, place all the ingredients.
- Cap the bottle and shake vigorously until well blended.
- Store in refrigerator and shake before each use. Use within a week.
