Avocado Buttermilk Dressing

Avocado Buttermilk Dressing This is a tangy and creamy dressing that can be made quickly in a kitchen mixer or blender.

Makes about 1 cup.


  • 1 medium avocado, peeled, pitted
  • 1/4 c buttermilk
  • 1/4 c salad oil
  • 2 Tbsp seasoned rice wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp prepared Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp dry dill
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or kitchen chopper and process until thick and smooth.
  2. Place in tightly sealed jar or refrigerator container and chill until served on salad or as dip. Use within 3 days.
