Homemade Lens Cleaner

This easy recipe will save you money on expensive glass and lens cleaners. I use the spray bottle that came when I purchased the store-bought version of lens cleaner.

Makes 1 cup.

Ingredients:

  • scant 1/2 c water
  • 1/2 c rubbing alcohol
  • 2 drops dish cleaning liquid detergent

Directions:

  1. Into a lidded 1 or 2 cup jar, pour the water and alcohol.
  2. Add dish detergent. Tightly screw lid on jar and shake until blended.
  3. Using funnel, fill a small spray bottle with the mixture. Spray lens and polish with fine cotton or microfiber cloth.
  4. If you have remaining lens cleaner, label jar and store in safe place.
