
When you make falafels or vegetable trays, Cucumber Sauce is lovely, but what if you do not have fresh cucumbers or Greek yogurt? The recipe below is a great alternative!
Makes about 1 1/3 cups.
Ingredients:
- 1 c plain yogurt
 - 1/3 c tahini
 - 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
 - 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
 - 1/2 tsp granulated onion
 - 1/2 tsp sumac powder
 - 1/4 tsp cumin powder
 - 1 tsp dry mint
 - 1 tsp dry dill
 - 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
 
Directions:
- In a pint jar or refrigerator container, stir all ingredients together until smooth.
 - Serve chilled with chips, vegetable sticks, falafels, or spread on crackers/sandwiches. Refrigerate any unused portion. Will keep about 5 days.
