Here is a simple, cool sauce that works well on vegetarian meat substitutes.
Makes about 1/2 cup.
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp tahini (sesame seed butter)
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp lime or lemon juice
- 1/4 c sour cream
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1/8 tsp dry savory
- 1/8 tsp turmeric
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Directions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until creamy and thick.
- Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Serve cold.
