Russian Dressing

Russian Dressing I hate to waste the pickling liquid in a bottle of dill pickles. It is loaded with flavor that can be used to make this creamy Russian dressing.

Makes about 1 pint of dressing.


  • 1/4 c dill pickle packing liquid
  • 1/2 c ketchup
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 1/4 c mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper


  1. In a pint jar, blend all ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Serve over green salads or use as a dip for vegetable sticks. Refrigerate and use within 2 weeks.
