Mexican Style Miso Dressing

Makes 1/2 cup.


  • 2 Tbsp light miso
  • 1/4 c vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder or ground CA chilies
  • 1/2 tsp granulated onion
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until well-combined and smooth. (This may also be whisked together by hand.)
  2. Serve over a green salad. Store unused portion in a tightly sealed jar or container and refrigerate. Use with one week.
