Fresh cucumbers and dill from the garden make this lovely sour cream salad. This salad will keep 2 days in the refrigerator.
Serves 4-5.
Ingredients:
- 2 large cucumbers
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp minced dill
- 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp celery seed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
Directions:
- Peel the cucumbers and slice as thinly as possible. Slice the onion nearly as thin. Place both in large bowl
- In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients until well blended. Add dressing to cucumbers and onions. Toss well.
- Chill at least 4 hours before serving. Garnish with a sprig of fresh dill.
