Whether you make your own Homemade Tempeh or buy it fresh, tempeh makes for a great vegetarian cook-out or grilled entree. Made from fermented soybeans, it is a high-protein product that will give you a sense of well-being.
Makes 8-10 slices.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz tempeh
- 2 Tbsp miso
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp sriracha or hot sauce
Directions:
- Preheat an outdoor grill or indoor grill pan on medium heat.
- Slice tempeh lengthwise in (8-10) half-inch pieces.
- Combine the miso, maple syrup, and sriracha in a small bowl.
- Spread each tempeh slice with the sauce on both sides. Place on the hot grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes, or until hot and marked with grilling stripes.
- Turn over and cook for another minute or two. Serve hot.
