When just a smidgen of a variety of Italian herbs is called for, a blend of Italian seasonings can come in handy. Here is a homemade version that works out nicely. Italian Seasoning (Home-Mix)

Makes about one cup of herbs.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp basil
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 Tbsp rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp marjoram
  • 1 Tbsp granulated garlic
  • 1 Tbsp thyme
  • 1 Tbsp savory
  • 1 Tbsp red pepper flakes

Directions:

  1. In a pint jar, combine dry basil, oregano, parsley, rosemary, marjoram, garlic, thyme, savory and red pepper flakes.
  2. Stir well, and remember to stir or shake before each use.
